Not investment advice

MoveableAlpha is general editorial information about public filings. It does not consider a reader’s objectives, financial position, or circumstances. Selection is not recommendation. Nothing on the site is an offer, solicitation, or instruction to transact in a security.

Selection and context

The planned weekly ten combines filing attention with versioned significance rules and human review. Cross-signal context displays only filing families actually present for a security. A missing input stays missing; agreement or disagreement is context, not a price call.

Public sources are delayed and partial

Filings describe reported positions or transactions at stated dates. They may be amended, corrected, filed after the underlying activity, or omit exposures a form does not require. The linked SEC filing controls if MoveableAlpha and a source differ.

Form 13F does not report short positions. It covers certain long positions in securities on the SEC’s Section 13(f) list, may include certain options and warrants, and is not a complete portfolio. See the SEC Form 13F FAQ.

Four filing families

Form 4 reports coded insider ownership transactions; codes distinguish open-market activity from grants, exercises, gifts, and other events. Schedules 13D and 13G report qualifying beneficial ownership and amendments. Form N-PORT reports portfolio information for registered funds. Form 13F reports qualifying institutional positions at quarter end. None is a complete statement of an actor’s current economics or intent.

Corrections

Filed-at time, reporting period, as-of date, accession, and method version will travel with published claims. A later filing amendment or editorial correction will be identified rather than silently replacing the earlier record.
